I am deeply invested in how to reduce suffering and facilitate increased ease and resilience in life. I am experienced in working with clients who struggle with trauma, addiction, anxiety, and depression, as well as those navigating challenging times in life. With advanced training in a range of evidence-based therapies to treat mood and trauma-related disorders, including CBT, DBT, CPT, and PE, I use an integrative, evidence-based approach to treatment. As a clinician, I value collaborating to create a treatment plan that best addresses your goals.
I received my Ph.D. from American University and engaged in further specialized training at the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System, where I completed a postdoctoral fellowship focused on addiction treatment. I have also been engaged in research focused on mindfulness and related topics since my undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College and have published a variety of peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.
